A Dose of Nature
‘A Dose of Nature’ is an roaming outdoor clinic that provides patients with an instant cure to combat symptoms of the terrible milaise sweeping the nation - namely ‘Nature Deficit Disorder’.
This pop-up, outdoor surgery offers a walk-in service. No appointment is necessary and all treatment is FREE on the NHS (The NATURAL Health Service).
After an initial assessment (using a range of state of the art, high-tech equipment - including a hoover pipe) patients will receive an emergency ‘Dose of Nature’ followed by immediate treatment in the form of fun, immersive, interactive, hands-on activities which will get you closer to nature and wildlife. Patients also take away a ‘prescription’ of nature-related activities which can be redeemed in their local green open space. Using her soothing bedside manner she can frequently be heard using her strapline: “Trust me, I’m a Doctor"!”
During 2017, in collaboration with Nature Nurture CIC ‘A Dose of Nature/The Tree Doctor’ was commissioned by The Woodland Trust to curate the Talking Trees project for 10 days in Potters Park, London as part of London Tree Week. She also runs a regular clinic at Glastonbury Festival, Kidz Field.
This walkabout routine is ideal for festivals and other outdoor events (during the daytime and/or evening) or can be booked as a static act.
