Bee a Nature Guide
Professor Queen-Bee is often asked to draw on her ecological knowledge to lead guided nature walks. Maybe those who ask are tired and/or intimidated by hairy-nosed and fury-eared naturalists conducting these walks who tend to use very complicated language and terminology. (Apologies to all of my dear hairy nostrilled and furry- eared colleagues plus all geography teachers who I am stereotyping here merely for a cheap laugh). In contrast, Professor Queen-Bee demystifies the natural world, making it understandable and enjoyable by injecting a large dose of humour and silliness.
Professor Smarty-Pants
Sometimes all of this ‘sciencey stuff’ can all be a bit too much hey? So, enter stage left Professor Smarty-Pants - who helps put across all of this starchy stuff in silly, fun, yet understandable bite-size chunks.
Whilst we all know that this famous and most intrepid of explorers has travelled the four corners of the earth, encountering strange beasts and revealing undiscovered territories - but her real passion lays in helping people to discover and appreciate the amazing wildiife bounty that is literally on their own doorsteps.
The Tree Doctor
The Tree Doctor is a well-known specialist of the terrible epidemic that is sweeping our nation and beyond - namely ‘Nature Deficit Disorder’.
Her pop-up, outdoor surgery offers a walk-in service in the form of fun, nature-related immersive, interactive, hands-on activities which will get you closer to nature and wildlife. No appointment is necessary and treatment is FREE on the NHS (The NATURAL Health Service).
